About MeMy name is Miss Naranjo and I believe this year will be a great year in helping your child excel in their education and their faith. I have been looking forward to working with my new students all summer and am excited to get to know them as young scholars. I graduated from San Jose State University with a Bachelors Degree in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Teaching Preparation. I am currently in the Excellence in Catholic Education and Leadership Graduate Program (ExCEL) at Santa Clara University for the next three years working towards my CA Teaching Credential and Masters in the Arts of Education. I am incredibly excited to work with everyone this year and be a contributor to your child's success!

My Teaching Philosophy |
I am committed to developing my students knowledge having a faith-based education in a Catholic environment. With the Diocese of San Jose and the Saint Katherine Drexel Initiative, I want my students to achieve greatness in their education by growing stronger in their faith, knowledge of high-order thinking standards, and their use of media to become disciples of Christ and to make him be known to others.

My Classroom Management Philosophy |
In order for every student to have a safe, well-rounded learning environment, the procedures and routines established during the first day of school are key to every student's success. With enforcing the class rules with examples, discussion, and activities, every student will understand and learn the behavior that is required in order to come in touch with our Catholic virtues: Respect & Responsibility, Self-Discipline, Generosity, Gratitude, Empathy/Compassion, Cooperation/Community Building, Honesty, Stewardship/Service, and Peacemaking.
